- Just pick up few feet of a scrap 2X4, and lay it in front of the front wheel.
- Also mark its position on the sidewall, in case the 2X4 moves. If it is long
- enough and if you approach your car slowly, it won't move at all.

- Then you get some stick on rubber molding and put around the garage side wall
- to work as your door edge preserver.
