  13. Just pick up few feet of a scrap 2X4, and lay it in front of the front wheel.
  14. Also mark its position on the sidewall, in case the 2X4 moves.  If it is long
  15. enough and if you approach your car slowly, it won't move at all.

  17. Then you get some stick on rubber molding and put around the garage side wall
  18. to work as your door edge preserver.
