  36. there are three groups you can try:

  38. 1) rec.autos.antique (alt.autos.antique) they're into restoring cars, but
  39.  
  40. 2) since you want to restore the car, but use new running gear, engine etc,
  41.    you may want to get in touch with a mail_list   hotrod@dixie.com
  42.    these are people that go a little further than restoring and are
  43.    in the process of getting together a net group on this
  44.  
  45. 3) also, a new group   alt.autos.rod-n-custom   which may help you too
  46.  
  47. finally, my husband could answer a lot of questions, I'll pass on your
  48. queries to him - he's been in the business since the early 60's
