  42. According to my brother-in-law, who owns a Ford dealership, Ford recently
  43. bought out Cummins and plan to start using the engines in their trucks in
  44. the near future.  While they can't stop Chrysler from buying the engines
  45. due to their contract, they will make it "less attractive" for Chrysler
  46. than it is now.

  48. I've also heard that this is the reason Dodge is developing a truck version
  49. of their V10 viper engine...
