  12. Maybe some of you car gurus can help me with this one. I have an 85 Peugeot 
  13. 309 (for those not familiar with it, basically a 4 cylinder 1.6 l clunker), 
  14. which has the following problem: on rainy days, the car hesitates and 
  15. shudders at low RPM. Once or twice it was really bad - the car was shaking 
  16. a LOT, and when I stopped at a light it stalled. That time it would stall 
  17. whenever I let it idle. At higher RMP it is not nearly as noticeable, but 
  18. you can still feel it from time to time. On dry days, it runs without a 
  19. hitch. I'm guessing that it is either an electrical problem, or that somehow 
  20. water is getting into the gas. I've replaced the plugs and the distributor
  21. cap (they needed it), and the cables from the distributor to the plugs are 
  22. fine. Has anyone had similar problems? If it is water getting into the fuel,
  23. any ideas on how to trace where the leak is coming from?
