- I think that you're stretching a bit to call the GM 6.2L diesel a "Detroit

- I've heard this a lot. I've worked some on both the Chevy and the
- Ford and must agree that the Ford diesel is superior to the Chevy
- diesel. In particular, the GM engine seems to have many more
- electrical problems. And I know of several that needed major internal
- work in the first 70K miles. The Dodge's Cummins engine is supposed
- to be better yet. As a non-lover of 'Twin I Beam', that would be my
- choice.
