  30. Duh?  Anyone can control the speed of their car.  It's just a matter of *why*.
  31. For me, the insurance companies making more money is *not* a good enough 
  32. reason for me to drive slowly...

  55. I wish I could find some stats on how many accidents per mile travelled 
  56. professional race-car drivers average...  You can bet your sorry ass that
  57. they drive faster than the speed-limits *and* get in fewer accidents, because
  58. the have practiced control, as well as emergency avoidance.  Now maybe if
  59. everyone had some exposure to this training...
