  40. Seems like you drive a GLI. Yes, my civic will probably not outcorner
  41. a GLI. Its cornering is certainly comparable with a Jetta GL or a Fox.
  42. I blow away Jetta GLs regularly, both in a straight line and a corner -)
  43. A higher power/weight ratio, non-power steering, and comparable tires 
  44. certainly help.

  46. Now an integra would give a GLI a run for its money.
  47. The GLI may have higher handling limits, but the engine/clutch combo
  48. in the Integra allows smooth downshifting during the corner, so
  49. you can take the corner marginally slower, but you can acclerate out
  50. significantly faster.
