- not to defend consumer reports, but does this overall rating include
- dealer service, etc.? it's possible that the japanese dealers
- were better about doing stuff under warranty and so forth (though
- my experience was that the import dealers were dicks and the domestic
- dealers were nice people).
- i don't have much faith in consumer reports, anyway. they did
- a review of some popular mountain bikes and it's fairly obvious
- that as far as mountain bikes are concerned, they don't know their
- ass from a hole in the ground. (yes i bike a lot.) ditto for the cars.
