- I am really getting sick and tired of all the whining by those who say
- that it is patriotic to buy American cars. I own a Japanese car and
- am as American as anyone else. I pay taxes, watch baseball once in a
- while and like apple pie but I do not drive a Chevy. What really
- makes me mad is that I can come up with several ways that it is
- "American" to buy a Japanese car. Here is a short list:
-
- [stuff deleted]

-
- Did you post this to support the opposite side? It sounds like
- you are supporting buy Japanese but the arguments just look to
- aid the buy American side. Believe it or not I am for neither.
-
- Also if someone believes that Japanese car owners are either stupid
- or too brainwashed to determine how reliable their car is, then
- find an example in the ratings. Can it be that hard?
-
- The one attempt I saw was very wrong, failing miserably.
