  15. Well, lets see, here MOTOR TREND (notice the magazine has a word that
  16. has to do with cars in its name) says that the Eclipse/Talon/Laser
  17. start at ~$12K, which is more than the Saturn.  And James is right,
  18. with a 92hp rice burning engine (it is a Mitsu product, now, ya know),
  19. it would drop far behind the Saturn.  Of course, the turbo version (a
  20. damn good car IMHO) would beat the little DOHC Saturn, but its not a
  21. good comparison test.  They aren't the _same_ type of car, you
  22. wouldn't put "Talon, 240sx, Prelude, Probe, Mx-6, and SC" together and
  23. expect the same type of performance offered by the previous cars and
  24. the latter.  Like I've said, the SC is a "MX3, NX1600, Paseo" fighter.
  25. How about Paseo vs Mustang GT?  Who do you think has the better car?

  35. The top of the line Eclipse is a very different car than the under 10k
  36. Eclipse(check PACE or Edmunds not MSRP Motor Trend).

  39. You say that CU couldn't use the Eclipse in a comparison when in fact
  40. the 92hp one could be compared to some of the other lesser sporty
  41. cars.
