- A little while ago I asked for opinions (on behalf of some
- friends) on B&W speakers and alternatives in the $400-900 range.
- Rather than reprinting all of the replies I received, I'll
- summarize in tabular form. I've listed the speaker maker, the
- model (when suggester was specific) and the number of votes it
- received. The list is in alphabetical order (I hope :-).
- Thanks very much to all those who took the time to respond.

- I passed along all of the original messages to my friends
- who will continue to audition speakers (particularly those
- on this list). It seems like Paradigm is definitely worth a
- listen judging from the conviction of those who recommended them.
- As an aside, I listened to the Definitive Technology DR7's and I
- really liked their sound (and their look).
- I'm still open to suggestions, so if anyone wants to put in
- their 2 cents, go for it (by email, preferably). Thanks again.
