  25. Turns out I needn't have worried. Instead of the channel I can hit the
  26. "Input" button on the remote and depending on whether I press it once 
  27. or twice it will either tape video from a chosen channel + audio from 
  28. the audio in lines or the audio alone. Took me till 3 in the morning to
  29. discover this undocumented function, but it was worth it.. I wouldn't
  30. have been able to go to sleep otherwise.

  32. Kinda funny having the opening piece on Relativity's "Gathering Pace" 
  33. playing while cowboys ride by...seemed appropriate somehow.

  35. Some questions for you Hi Fi VCR users out there:

  37. 1) Is recording in SLP (or whatever its called - 6 hours on a "120" 
  38.    tape) OK for good audio? I'm not out for CD quality here.. just 
  39.    120 minute cassette off-the-air FM quality.

  41. 2) How important is auto-tracking? The Samsung doesn't have it; a 
  42.    Sony that cost perhaps another $13 had it, but the Samsung had 
  43.    an "index search" feature so I bought it. I fiddled with the 
  44.    tracking but couldn't discern a difference.
