  38. Most speakers from what I've learned, like to be between 2 and 4' from
  39. the back wall.  Less than 2' and the bass can get boomy.  I'd pull your 
  40. sofa back another foot and move the speakers forward 1 foot.  Moving
  41. my speakers from flush to 2' from the wall helped them sound better and
  42. imaging went WAY up.

  44. Another thing is power amps.  Did you use the same power amp in the 
  45. store as you are using at home (or one of similar power and quality?)
