  24.    I read a reviews in a British audio magazine about a year ago of a Sony
  25.    power amp that accepted digital input.

  31. I think you may be getting the wrong-end-of-the-stick here

  34. Some amps are designated if they have a D-to-A convertor
  35. built in.
  36. There is another form of amp that doesn't use convertors at all,
  37. the class D amp. 
  38. I don't think this has been used seriously on the audio field but
  39. maybe it's time for someone to look at it again.
