- Hi,
-
- I was wondering if anyone could help me here. Lately I've seen
- on the market some really inexpensice type IV tapes, like the
- SONY SR-90 and the Denon S-Port 90. What I was wondering, is
- whether I'm better offf using a cheap type IV or an expensive
- type II like the XLIIS or the Denon HD8? From experience, I
- know that these type II's sound real good and have a decent
- longevity. The cheap metals also sound good, but I was
- wondering if maybe they are on cheaper tape or in less good
- cases. Any opinions? Email is best way to reply.
