- With apologies to victims of hurricane Andrew, but as a victim of Stereo

- I can picture this life size...........
- Reviewer - "Sorry about the DCC900 review but Andrew is about to hit us,
- gotta evacuate."
- Editor (snug as a bug in a rug in his New York office) - "WHAT!!!! Phillips
- has bought two page ads in every issue for the rest of the year. I've
- GOT to have that review or your (line breaks up as tree falls on wires)."
- Reviewer - "But boss .."
- Editor - No buts, you've got the only DCC900 in North America an I WILL have
- your review in my fax hopper or you'll never see another Pioneer A/V receiver
- for as long as you live. Fail me and you'll never work in this town again!"
- Reviewer - "Yes, sir."
- Hanging up his phone the dejected Reviewer returns to the equipment rack.
- As the 50mph winds beat rain against his windows he loads the CD and DCC
- with identical copies of 'Oliva Newtion John's Greatest Hits'. Taking his
- place in the Listening Chair he picks up the remotes to begin the critical
- test upon which millions of audiophiles throughout the english speaking
- world will base their judgements.
