- The other big advantage to either DCC or MD in the car (and I'm toying
- with DAT since we have an SV-3700) is that you can compile your own tapes.
- I'm very picky about what I like to hear in the car, and I prefer to make
- compilations (either by artist or by genre). I don't recall who, but some
- musician made a quote along the lines of "...but in your car it has to
- *rock*". I tend to agree with that. So far I've been doing this on
- cassette of course, but I'm getting tired of crummy sound and highly
- destructable tapes.
-
- I want something that is recordable, sounds better than cassette and holds
- up to the harsh environment of a car. That will probaly end up meaing MD.
-
- For home recording I'll continue to use DAT.
