  20. I sincerely doubt this.  Most of the "audiophiles" won't listen
  21. to "low-quality" equipment, even in their autos or on the
  22. beach, so I don't think you'll get any advice from those who
  23. claim to be "audiophiles" in the low end market.  (And, personally,
  24. I often doubt "audiophile" advice is "sound advice")

  26. Most of the people who are up on the technology are more likely
  27. to read the group, I think, and you WILL be able to amass a
  28. group experience  on issues like reliability and such, much more
  29. easily that you can here, where you CAN get good advice, but you
  30. also may get flamed by the "you tin-eared idiot" crowd, and where
  31. the memory of the group's long-time participants seems to be less
  32. than 4 months.

  34. I think a separate group is a wonderful idea, even though I
  35. wouldn't usually need such advice.
