- Must I again point out that a second-generation DCC (analog interface
- between decks) is going to sound pretty bad? (Well,
- "bad" is relative, perhaps I'm picky.) This is
- a boon to companies who own record companies, because you're
- not going to be able to make good copies from DCC to DCC,
- and everyone is going to have to buy a tape. Now, this is
- what copyright law thinks should happen, and I have no trouble
- with that, BUT I dislike having to accept a degredation for
- my own use, and that's what's implied.
