  23. Must I again point out that a second-generation DCC (analog interface
  24. between decks) is going to sound pretty bad? (Well,
  25. "bad" is relative, perhaps I'm picky.)  This is
  26. a boon to companies who own record companies, because you're
  27. not going to be able to make good copies from DCC to DCC,
  28. and everyone is going to have to buy a tape.  Now, this is
  29. what copyright law thinks should happen, and I have no trouble
  30. with that, BUT I dislike having to accept a degredation for
  31. my own use, and that's what's implied.
