  28. You can buy a brand NEW 8-track player with a warranty.  Problem is is that you
  29. have to go to a  toy store to get it and it looks like a robot.

  31. Anybody remember 2XL?  Basically he is a 'educational' robot with 'lessons' on
  32. 8-tracks.  You pick your answers to his questions by pressing a track number
  33. button.  I sold them when I worked at a toy store in the early eighties and,
  34. boy, was his voice IRRITATING.

  36. He's back in a new version - same basic software though.  I thought it was
  37. really interesting that they (Tomy, I think) brought him back.

  39. Your best bet for an eight-track would be the electronics section of
  40. Goodwill/Salvation Army retail stores.  (Bring your own 8-track to test 'em
  41. first, though.)  You can also find lots o' 8-track copies of Peter Frampton
  42. "Comes Alive" albums.  Fun fun fun...
