  13.     In today's (Sun, Nov 22, 92) Seattle times on page B2,
  14. I read that Victoria B.C. continues to dump raw sewage directly in to the 
  15. Strait of Jaun de Fuca. In a vote by the people of that city they 
  16. overwhelmingly rejected city proposals to treat the city's sewage
  17. before it is discharged in to the Strait. Aparently Victoria is the
  18. city of it's size on the West coast of North America that discharges
  19. it's sewage into the sea without any treatment....
  20.     Folks this is nasty, that (water) from the strait of Jaun de Fuca
  21. flows into Puget Sound.
  22.     Maybe it is time to pressure our government to pressure their
  23. government into fixing this. Or (threaten a) boycott of B.C. and Victoria
  24. B.C. products and tourism.
