- NovAtel _was_ a private-govt owned telecom company dealing mainly in
- Cellular telephones till they went under last year despite millions of
- dollors of assistance from the Alberta Govt. Alberta Government
- Telephones (AGT) is now privatized as Telus Ltd. and has since been
- slicing away whole divisions (such as R&D) in an effort to show some
- kind of financial feasibility/profits.
