  29. NovAtel _was_ a private-govt owned telecom company dealing mainly in 
  30. Cellular telephones till they went under last year despite millions of
  31. dollors of assistance from the Alberta Govt.  Alberta Government
  32. Telephones (AGT) is now privatized as Telus Ltd. and has since been
  33. slicing away whole divisions (such as R&D) in an effort to show some
  34. kind of financial feasibility/profits.
