  26. We do different things than we used to.  Watch some old movies.  For
  27. example, "The Apartment".  All the characters work for an insurance
  28. company - enormous barns of rows of desks with typewriters, rollodex(tm)
  29. files, one-line black phones.  Many of those people did totally routine
  30. billing, which is now totally automatable.

  32. Productivity is a slippery concept - value added is a little easier to
  33. quantify.
