- This is interesting--I am half Asian (mother from China, father from
- Maine), and out of three kids in my family, none of us has my mother's
- hair. We all have shades of brown, two are wavy and only one is straight.
- We all do have brown eyes, though.

- What are single and double eyelids? In my family, the American and
- Asian features have combined in strage ways. Only one of us really looks
- white (me). My brother looks Semitic (he married a Jewish woman, they had
- a very large wedding, and her relatives were thrilled upon seeing my brother
- that Amy was marrying a Jewish boy). My sister looks Native American.
- However, in our own peculiar ways, we do look like both of our parents.
