  12. Several months ago I was interested in purchasing Telebras based on a 
  13. recommendation of a friend who is an international economist and the
  14. recommendation of his friend who was a Brazilian economist.  At the
  15. time I was not able to purchase the stock because it was not tradable in
  16. the US.  The company had not filed and apparently was not willing to
  17. file the necessary disclosures and financial data necessary for trading
  18. in the USA.  Has this changed?  Who is the borker who recommended it?
  19. What information had he given you about it?  Please send on any info
  20. you may have about it?  The trading price a few months ago was around
  21. 13 a share so it certainly has not had much of a move.  Thanks
