  13. Someone on the net the other day suggested that Dean Witter had
  14. a low fee schedule for single share purchases that would be good
  15. for initial investments for a DRIP.  (I don't have the posti
  16. handy, but thanks to the originator.)

  18. I walked over to their office and told the receptionist that
  19. I would like some information on setting up an account and
  20. would like a fee schedule.  She told me that they don't have
  21. anything written up and that fees varied depending on what
  22. you bought.  I said "yes, that's why I'd like a fee schedule".
  23. "Well, we don't have one." was her response.

  25. I find this all hard to believe.  Was this receptionist 
  26. just totally incompetent, or was she correct and Dean Witter
  27. is just anti-customer?
