  20. I'm not uninformed about below-knee amputations.  My son's cub-scout
  21. leader is a below-knee amputee and I've talked to him quite a bit.

  23. I also have a cousin who is now a nurse.  She had her leg amputated
  24. below the knee due to a lawnmower accident.

  33. I was in the hospital from Tuesday November 3 to Friday November 6.

  35. I'm presently at home, recuperating from the surgery.  I had no idea
  36. that it would be as painful as it was.

  38. It's still excruciatingly painful to laugh :-).

  40. What's especially annoying is not being able to get up once I lie
  41. down :-).
