- It is interesting. Weather and stump have been acting funny the last few
- days. We've just went through several days of balmy wet weather. The stump
- did not know what to do. It would hurt one day and not the next. This went on
- for 3 to 4 days. Then this front we had just hit started moving and the stump
- started doing its thing. It's not any pain of anytype. It's just the feeling
- of my foot and all the bone popping needing to be done and I can't do it.
- It's just plain wierd. Trying to scratch or pop the other foot does nothing
- for it at all. Me and my funny nerves...grin.

- Funny how different groups work. I did not get my prosthesises until my stump
- was healed. Some of the others in the support group I go to got theirs within
- 2 to 3 days after surgery. In my case I had a plaster cast on for a months
- and a half. Will keep you out of a leg for a bit. Then I was in stump
- schrinkers (sp) for another month and a half walking with cructhers. So for 3
- months I was on cructhes and then when I got my leg I was still on the sticks
- for another month. Guess your friend just work to hard walking on the leg.
- Had one member of the group whos doc took her leg away for a week or two for
- about the same reason. She was working to hard trying to get back up and
- walking.
