  29. I've found lipreading Japanese and Chinese to be the most difficult.
  30. Sometimes those who have learned English as their second language
  31. position their tongues a bit differently than the norm when speaking
  32. English are hard to understand but like all things, I've found the
  33. more you are around the person, the more you get the practice and
  34. learn to recognize the way they form certain words.

  36. Speaking a different language is another whole ballgame but it is
  37. not impossible for one who is deaf or HoH to learn, just takes
  38. a little more time.  I don't know why people feel because one is
  39. deaf or HoH, one cannot learn to speak - what a misconception.
