- Although I agree that the training for some very basic injuries IS the
- same or similar, how well does AFA prepare you for Dx'ing and Tx'ing
- the
- Acute MI or in-bleed. Recognizing the difference between an MI and AAA.

- What about proper reporting procedures, Ambulance operations,
- Medical/legal issues, etc. As I have previously stated, I am not
- knocking AFA. I am stating my belief that AFA no longer prepares
- someone
- to crew an EMS ambulance. In fact the DOT curriculum barely prepares
- you.

- As previously stated, AFA does have it's place in pre-hospital care,
- but
- that place is not in the back of an ambulance, IMHO.
