- Around here, " 99" means officer in trouble, (fire or police as we use
- the same dispatcher). Most times we use plain language to discribe the
- scene. "Working fire", "Full arrest", "rollover with entrapment", etc.
- Although the police use the signal/code system more than we do in the
- fire/ems service.
