  13. I must admit that most of the departments that I have served in 
  14. have provided transport if not ALS service in addition.  In one
  15. instance a neighboring district (Bremerton) used a private service
  16. for transport but provided their own ALS people.  I don't know if
  17. their agreement with Olympic Ambulance still stands.  In my
  18. experience albeit limited it seems like FD supported EMS is more
  19. the rule than the exception.  Admittedly I have only served with
  20. 3 departments: Kitsap County Fire District 18/Poulsbo, Pullman
  21. Fire Services, and Getchell Fire Department.
