- I must admit that most of the departments that I have served in
- have provided transport if not ALS service in addition. In one
- instance a neighboring district (Bremerton) used a private service
- for transport but provided their own ALS people. I don't know if
- their agreement with Olympic Ambulance still stands. In my
- experience albeit limited it seems like FD supported EMS is more
- the rule than the exception. Admittedly I have only served with
- 3 departments: Kitsap County Fire District 18/Poulsbo, Pullman
- Fire Services, and Getchell Fire Department.
