  12.         That is where I disagree. I have been following this thread
  13.         about lights in p.o.v's for a while now. I havn't had too much
  14.         to say because I have about beat this subject to death with
  15.         others in this echo before. We each made the same points for
  16. and
  17.         against the use of lights in volunteer's vehicals. I must tell
  18.         you tho..I am definitely in FAVOR of the use of lights. I have
  19. a
  20.         lightbar on my truck and two strobe flashers on my front
  21. bumper,
  22.         and I have no intentions of ever getting rid of them, unless
  23.         ofcourse the KGB comes and takes them off themselves.

  25.         Anyhow back to the disagreement. I believe that Volunteer
  26.         Firefighters/EMT's driving Personal Vehicals should be
  27.         designated as Emergency vehicals. After all, Nothing can get
  28.         done untill we get there. Right?!?

  30.         On the EMS side. I am an AEMT-D, I carry a jump bag and an O2
  31.         cylandar in my truck. I have the capablility to keep a patient
  32.         alive and a whole lot more comfortable until the ambulance gets
  33.         there. I think that these reasons alone should designate our
  34.         vehicals as EMERGENCY VEHICAL'S. After all we are transporting
  35.         Emergency personel and equipment to the scene of an emergency.
