  12. of this LIST", pointed out that it's pretty much been operating
  13. on auto-pilot since the originator left.

  15. Considering how this LIST has continued to funciton
  16. quite well, and the discourse level has been pretty
  17. high, I guess it demonstrates the intelligence
  18. and consideration (and general niceness) of the EMS
  19. and other types who subscribe.

  23. as a point of information: there are actually a number of
  24. different inputs to this LIST.  Most people are subscribed
  25. through an Internet or Bitnet gateway attached to their
  26. institutions, but there are also some who come throu
  27. the mosr-or-less parallel discussion groups on FIDO and
  28. the UUUCP, and no doubt some others.

  30. The FIDO "Firenet" echo does, in fact, have
  31. a moderator, so although he doesn't "run" this portion,
  32. he is still a pretty busy person!
