- This is all anecdotal evidence. For every one of your poor
- teachers, I can name one good one I've had. For every piece of sound
- medical and legal advice you have received, I can tell you stories of
- horror and woe.
- Unfortunately, the one statistic that might tell us something
- exists in the legal and medical profession, but not in teaching:
- malpractice rate. If malpractice suits against teachers were possible,
- we would have a real point around which to focus this debate.
