- I have no personal experience in this (so I probably shouldn't wasted
- bandwidth), but here's what I think: The funeral home is doing this
- to "help" people get over their loss, and possibly to acquaint you with
- others going through the same type of loss. Obviously their methods are
- not to your liking, but I would think some people might like it (especially
- those who are more nostalgic, religious, or both).

- I agree with you that bookmarks with obits probably wouldn't be something
- I'd want, but I suppose you could put one in a Bible marking the page
- of the passage read at the funeral, or something like that.
