  22. ECUADORAN STUDENTS CONTINUE STRIKE

  24. Thousands of Ecuadoran high school students continued their
  25. street demonstrations and meetings for the second consecutive day
  26. on Thursday, November 19, blocking traffic.  The police attacked
  27. the demonstrators with tear gas.  The Ecuadoran High School
  28. Student Federation (FESE) had called for a strike on Wednesday,
  29. November 18.  However, on Thursday, many students still did not
  30. return to their classrooms, and took to the streets in various
  31. parts of Quito and other cities. (AFP )
