- I would agree with you except for one thing you are forgetting.
- A person can have AIDS for years and not test positive for it.
- Therefore if a restraunt owner, or any PRIVATE business owner
- does not want to hire a person because of that persons sexual
- habits (I mean--even a female prostituet too) then they should
- be within their legal rights to not hire that person.
- I have had an ad in the paper for two weeks looking for
- someone to come into my home and keep an eye on my girls while I
- work on a house bill concerning adoption. I know I am
- discriminating when someone calls and asks for "Toney", or when
- they can not form complete sentences...because I tell them the
- position has been filled. THat is my perfect right. I want
- someone who can read because my children love to be read to. If
- I wanted an illeterate person to come her to receive an
- education I would have placed my ad to read like that, but my
- name is not Toney and the ad clearly states "Toney Area". So I
- discriminate. big deal. It is my perfect right to do so when
- chosing someone that will come into my home with my children and
- myself while I work on the computer.
