- I believe the short answer is; there isn't one. I usually get off
- at the NY ave. exit from the Balt/Wash Parkway and take NY to 3rd St.
- (there is a left turn signal and sign pointing to 395). A left turn there
- leads directly to the SE/SW freeway, (I think thats the name) and you take
- that to the freeway exit for 395 towards VA. Alternatively, you can take
- 95 to 495W and go around to the GW Parkway and take that directly to
- National. Its longer but the traffic flows more smoothly (except on Sat.
- and Sun. afternoons of course).
- Don't feel too badly. When I first started driving in Wash. I swore there
- *must* be an exit from 295 South to Minnesota Ave and the B/W parkway. I
- still haven't found it (there isn't one but I still can't believe it :-> )
- Somewhere in highway planning heaven there must be a blueprint for those
- off ramps.
