  24.   I believe the short answer is;  there isn't one.  I usually get off
  25.   at the NY ave. exit from the Balt/Wash Parkway and take NY to 3rd St.
  26.   (there is a left turn signal and sign pointing to 395).  A left turn there
  27.   leads directly to the SE/SW freeway, (I think thats the name) and you take
  28.   that to the freeway exit for 395 towards VA.  Alternatively, you can take
  29.   95 to 495W and go around to the GW Parkway and take that directly to 
  30.   National.  Its longer but the traffic flows more smoothly (except on Sat.
  31.   and Sun. afternoons of course).
  32.   Don't feel too badly.  When I first started driving in Wash. I swore there
  33.   *must* be an exit from 295 South to Minnesota Ave and the B/W parkway.  I 
  34.   still haven't found it (there isn't one but I still can't believe it :-> )
  35.   Somewhere in highway planning heaven there must be a blueprint for those 
  36.   off ramps.
