- OK, I know how to set up 386bsd using the install program. (yeech.)
- I want to use a custom set of partitions. I have already created the
- disklabel, and written it to the disk.
-
- Problem 1: How do I get the boot block on the disk so the system boots
- from the hard drive? Under Mach, I just use dd.
-
- Problem 2: I'm using ESDI drives, and 386bsd doesn't seem to notice bad blocks.I do. It's not fun to watch your file system die.
- I have the bad sector locations on paper.
-
- Thanks,
-
