- I don't know if he did, or if he didn't, but one thing that I do know
- for sure is that nearly every cdrom drive on the market today uses a
- proprietary command set to activate the audio functions, and each manufacturer
- uses something different. There is a set of commands defined in the scsi-2
- standard, but I only know of one drive that makes use of it. The upshot is
- that if Julian did include ioctl functions for the xcdplayer, they will most
- likely only work for one specific make of drive.
