- You have been misinformed. IBM currently offers the product AIX/ESA, which
- can run natively on 370/ESA architecture, or second level on 370/ESA and
- 370/XA architecture. The AIX/ESA product was made available to the public
- this past summer (6/92), and we (myself included) are hard at work with the
- follow-on release. An IBM marketing or service representative could tell
- you exactly what model numbers of mainframe hardware are supported by the
- AIX/ESA product.
