- I have an RS/6000 220 (AIX 3.2.0) to which I attached a
- color postscript printer via the parallel port. When
- this thing is sending a job to the printer, it is virtually
- dead in the water. Admittedly, color postscript files are
- large, but there must be some way of arbitrating things
- so that the machine remains in a reasonably useful state
- while printing (the 220 has 32MB of memory and a local disk).
