  15. I have a problem setting up a RS/6000 to work properly with a modem.
  16. I am using Discovery 2400 AM modems. I tried *many* times to set up
  17. a special tty to enable loging in with a modem. It won't work. The
  18. system occasionaly complains about garbage etc. There is however one way
  19. to make it work: establish a modem connection and then change the
  20. terminal type parameter in smit e.g. When he saves this information and
  21. gives 'ttyxx changed' a login prompt appears at the remote host. Hanging
  22. up and establishing a connection again won't work....
  23. Does anybody know how to fix this?
  24. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
