- We are developing several FORTRAN applications for the RS/6000 using
- the XL Fortran V2 Compiler. To execute these applications on a
- workstation which does not have the compiler installed we have been
- using the XL Fortran Run-Time stuff.
-
- I have several questions concerning the use of XL Fortran:
-
- 1) Can I statically link the run-time modules in on the machine
- I develop and build these applications so that a Run-Time
- license is not required on the machines I wish to execute them
- on?
-
- 2) Assuming this is possible, can anyone give me an estimate on the
- extra resources which would be required (e.g. additional
- memory requirements, etc.).
-
- Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Email responses
- would be preferred.
-
- Thanks!
