  13. Hi: I'm trying to put a big program running in background
  14. in hybernation. I was thinking to use:
  15.                     kill -TSTP processid
  16. to suspend the job  and
  17.                     kill -CONT processid
  18. to restart the job
  19.  
  20. The trouble is that after the first kill (to suspend the job)nothing 
  21. happends the program still running. 
  22. Am I doing the correct thing? What is wrong with the command?.
