- Hi: I'm trying to put a big program running in background
- in hybernation. I was thinking to use:
- kill -TSTP processid
- to suspend the job and
- kill -CONT processid
- to restart the job
-
- The trouble is that after the first kill (to suspend the job)nothing
- happends the program still running.
- Am I doing the correct thing? What is wrong with the command?.
-
- Running a IBM?6000/560 with 128K memory and AIX 3.2.2
-
- Thanks
