- I want to transfer quotas from one filesytem to another. I tried
- just copying the quotas file (really cat /a/quotas >> /b/quotas)
- which didn't work. A repquota /b resulted in several lines with
- numbers instead of user names. A quotacheck fixed it, but I still
- don't have quotas in effect for the users who were previously on /a.

- Can this be done? How?

- I have looked for a man page with the format of the quotas file and
- haven't been able to find it. I thought I might write a small program
- if necessary.
