  12. I want to transfer quotas from one filesytem to another.  I tried
  13. just copying the quotas file (really cat /a/quotas >> /b/quotas) 
  14. which didn't work.  A repquota /b resulted in several lines with 
  15. numbers instead of user names.  A quotacheck fixed it, but I still 
  16. don't have quotas in effect for the users who were previously on /a. 
  17.  
  18. Can this be done?  How?

  20. I have looked for a man page with the format of the quotas file and 
  21. haven't been able to find it.  I thought I might write a small program 
  22. if necessary.
