  13. Well, here's one place where knopwing the Sun routines in your
  14. sleep does no real good. How does one install, software-wise a
  15. new external HD onto and AIX machine (model 560 AIX 3.2)?

  17. I have successfully installed the HD physically, and have added
  18. the HD to a volume group and have even managed to set the HD to
  19. a mount point. My problem is:

  21. -how do I define a file system size so that I can have my new
  22. disk at something other than the default sizer of 4096KB?
  23. (Its a Wren IX, 2100 MB).

  25. -how do I set up a format.dat type entry for the IBM so that
  26. AIX recognizes what kind of parameters the Wren IX has
  27. (or is this too much SunOS'ism showing through) ?
