- I have a hazeltine esprit ESP6110+ terminal here. It runs H1500
- emulation mode, and can run up to 19200 baud in speed. Here is our
- current termcap:
-
- HE|esprit|hazeltine esprit:\
- :am:bs:co#80:li#24:cm=\E^Q%r%>\036\240%+\140%+\140:\
- :al=35\E^Z:dl=35\E^S:cd=10\E^X:ce=\E^O:cl=\E^\:\
- :up=\E^L:do=\E^K:nd=^P:se=\E^Y:so=\E^_:is=\E^Y:
-
- This termcap works well at 9600 baud, but has problems at 19200 baud.
- Does anyone know of a termcap that works with this terminal in H1500
- mode at 19200 baud? In particular, when I run nn, the first line or
- two of news on every page is scrozzled / truncated. Perhaps there is
- not enough of a pause between the screen erase & the first character
- sent afterwards? Or perhaps nn is using a clear-to-end-of-screen from
- the 2nd or 3rd line of the page, and the Esprit in H1500 mode cannot
- do this quickly? If any of the other emulation modes can be used at
- 19200 baud without these problems, then I'll switch the emulation. I
- can't stand 9600 baud any more....
-
- Please excuse my ignorance of the termcap database (I have never
- written a termcap entry before). Thanks in advance for any help on
- this problem!
