- Ok,
- maybe I should clear up a few things.
- I have done a chkdsk to make sure
- everything is OK.
- I forgot about the hidden files,
- it says I have about 8 megs of them.
- Isnt this a bit much?
- Im mostly an applications kinda guy, so I dont know
- much about configuration deals. Sorry.
- When I meant memory, I was meaning HD bytes available for
- storage.
- For one thing, I had at least 3.5 Megs free about a week ago,
- and the next thing I know I only have the 385K free.
- I just dont know where it went. I was thinking something
- along the lines of backups screwing things up or something.
- Does windows do this? Thanks a million!

- PS It's not just windows that I have this problem with,
- Being in Dos does not free up any HD bytes.
